With the current financial conditions, particularly in states like Florida, we all find ourselves i
n a very serious buyers market. The reality is, selling a house in the state of Florida is extremely tricky except if you have a good realtor right at your side. Having said that, even with the greatest realtor on the planet you are still going to have to worry about the amount of money you are going to pay in Florida real estate commissions.

The percentage that you are likely to pay must be decided prior to your house getting listed on the regional MLS. If you do this, you will pay a one-time flat fee of anywhere in the neighborhood of $299 - $799 to be listed in the MLS. Your home will be searchable on a variety of websites and by any real estate professionals that are shopping for homes in your area for their own clients. Using a flat-fee listing service can easily save you lots of money. You certainly save the 3% commission that would have been paid to your agent (selling agent) and of course, if you ever sell the home without a buying agent, you don't have to pay any Florida real estate commissions.
